Cigar Lei

Cigar lei are a popular lei celebrations and good luck. Cigar leis are most often worn by men. This is fitting as a graduation lei or for good fortune on a new venture or sporting event.

The flowers are said to resemble a lighted cigar with the bright red color on the tip. This is a small, special flower. A cigar lei may have as many as 2,000 flowers. Each is carefully added to the lei by hand.

The cigar lei is not worn by women. You will see it at sporting events or other times when the wearer is hoping for some good luck.
