Because maile vines are not commercially grown, we like to have at least one day notice before shipping this lei. Some of the rare vine must be harvested from the rain forest, and we will need time to properly clean it as well before it will ship.
This lei is worn traditionally any time someone is to be honored, such as a graduation or promotion, or for any right of passage, such as a birthday or wedding. It is appropriate for a man or woman.
* Maile leis are cleared for shipment to any of the 50 United States, including California.
How to care for your fresh maile lei
For the longest life and freshest appearance of your maile lei, unpack fresh maile lei immediately upon arrival. Sprinkle or mist your fresh maile lei with water if it seems dry. Put in a plastic bag and place in the fridge until use. Do not freeze.
Maile leis will last for about 5 days from the date they are made and shipped.
